How does the Successful Coaching & Mentoring Strategies Micro-credential program work?
Successful Coaching & Mentoring Strategies for Leaders will provide participants with practical strategies for coaching and mentoring adults in today’s dynamic corporate, non-profit, and education organizations. During this unique 5 week course, you will work hands on with Professor Ed Cunliff, Ph.D. as well as collaborate with your peers from around the OKC Metro area.

This 5-week program is offered in-person at one of UCO’s Downtown OKC locations, Santa Fe Plaza. The sessions will be on Friday mornings from 8:30-11:30 a.m.

Module 1 – Establishing Relationships: Trusting Who We Are.
What are coaching and mentoring processes and sub processes? It all starts with you, your client, and the health of the relationship.
Module 2 – Listening: To hear a heart beat.
Listening with focus, intention, and the desire to understand the other is essential and rewarding in the coaching and mentoring process.
Module 3 – Goal Setting and Agreements: On the same page?
There are SMART goals and Courageous goals, and this session is about goals that work for the coach/mentee.
Module 4 – Asking Transformative Questions
Asking powerful questions or those that lead to transformation are developed and practiced in this session.
Module 5 – Feedback and Feedforward
Providing useful feedback as well as feeding forward are addressed in this session as well as a sense of closure as each participant recognizes their personal approach to coaching and mentoring.

It is shown as an icon which can be clicked to view information such as issuing institution, the date earned, the criteria required to earn the badge and the evidence that shows that you have met the required criteria. Once you earn a badge you own it, so you may use it however you wish. Examples include adding it to your social media websites, including LinkedIn, or adding it to your digital resume or portfolio.
