Solution Sprints

HELP YOUR TEAM THRIVE BY UNLOCKING THE POWER OF COLLABORATION

Organizations today are faced with challenges and opportunities that can feel overwhelming.

The pace of change is faster, the decisions are more complex, and the environment is more dynamic than any time before.

To thrive in this this constantly changing time, we need new ways of discovering, creating, and testing ideas that will help teams and organizations thrive.

Introducing the Solution Sprint.

The Solution Sprint is a one-of-a-kind program designed to help teams and organizations quickly discover new insights, create breakthrough ideas, and develop creative solutions to their most pressing challenges and opportunities.

The Solution Sprint program gives teams from diverse backgrounds and perspectives the roadmap and tools to create world-changing solutions to the most difficult and complex problems that can stop great teams from achieving their best.

How does a Solution Sprint work?

The Solution Sprint program combines methods from design thinking and Learning Environment Modeling® to create a unique and specialized experience for helping teams quickly create breakthrough solutions to the most challenging problems and opportunities.

First, a core design team is formed based on special qualities and characteristics related to the topic of the Solution Sprint. This design team’s responsibility is to lead and coordinate the Solution Sprint process.

Once a core design team is formed, additional participants are invited to participate in the Solution Sprint.

The Solution Sprint begins with mapping the design problem. The goal of this phase is to create clarity and understanding about the design problem and relate to the needs and experiences of people influenced by the design problem.

Next, the goal of the Ideation phase is to develop out-of-the-box ideas for solving the design problem.

The Prototyping phase creates and tests solution concepts in the real world.

The goal of the Launch Plan phase is to develop a roadmap for launching and scaling the solution.

The portfolio of artifacts developed through the solution sprint process are shared with the university community and leadership. This involves presenting the solution and gaining support for implementation of the solution.
